Mom of Boys

When one of the co organizers went on maternity leave, and another co organizer got too busy in her personal life to help out… there were just 2 of us who were planning events.  It seems as though this past week, both of the other girls came back and since we had done such a good time orgnizing events, we filled up the entire month of February before the month started!  Now, we are working on the Calendar for March and it just seems so far away now.  I can put indoor activites on the Calendar, but March is when it’s suppose to get warmer outside…  I have so many ideas that I can’t put on the Calendar now, and I have to put them SOMEWHERE! 

I’ll be coming back to update…  So here they are: (so far)

St. Patrick’s Day Treasure Hunt:  Meet at Local Park and hide some cold coins for the kids to find.  “A leprechaun visited the park and lost all his gold, so we are going to be there to help find it!”

National Zoo

We started a book club in December for MTW (Moms the Word) and the first book we read was The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory (Thank you Heidi!).  So the MOVIE for this book will come out at the end of February and as soon as I saw the TRAILER for it I posted a Moms Night Out on our Calendar to go see it.  Since I posted it, more of the moms have been interested in reading the book, so that’s cool… I can’t wait to go see this movie!
